Scheduling Administrator – 9 Month Fixed Term Contract Nottingham Hybrid working £25,000 - £26,500 Eaton Syalon are pleased to be recruiting a Scheduling Administrator on behalf of one of our key clients. This is a 9 month fixed term opportunity, supporting a busy and collaborative service department that plays a vital role in keeping customers up and running. As Scheduling Administrator, you will be the central point of contact between customers, engineers and contract managers. You will ensure that service requests are logged accurately, jobs are scheduled promptly, and customers are kept updated every step of the way. It’s a role that requires excellent organisation, clear communication, and a proactive approach to problem solving. It is essential that you have a background in an engineering or service based environment. Ideally you will have previous experience of working closely with engineers, including managing diaries, scheduling site visits and allocating jobs. We are ideally looking for a candidate who can start ASAP, however the client is open to candidates with a short notice period. Key Responsibilities * Act as first point of contact for customer queries and service requests. * Log and process calls accurately through the internal system. * Schedule engineer visits and follow up to ensure successful completion. * Arrange spare/replacement parts and ensure correct documentation is provided. * Keep customers updated, ensuring SLA targets and KPIs are consistently met. * Prepare quotations and support with invoicing processes. * Produce service reports and assist the Helpdesk Team Leader with performance tracking. * Build strong relationships with engineers, contract managers and customers. To be successful in this role, it is essential that you have: * Proven experience in a customer service or coordination role. * A background in an engineering or service-based environment. * Previous experience of working closely with engineers, including managing diaries, scheduling site visits and allocating jobs. * Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure. * Strong communication skills with the confidence to deal with customers at all levels. * Competence using Microsoft Office and ideally service management systems. Salary: £25,000 - £26,500 Working Hours: Monday – Friday 8.30 AM – 5.00 PM Hybrid Working Available – 2 days working from home / 3 days based at the Nottingham office.
