Overview
We\'re on a mission to build a data platform that’s secure, compliant and trusted. As our first Data Governance, Security & Compliance Lead, you’ll shape how AO protects and manages data across our entire business. From Data Science and Engineering to Analytics, you’ll embed best practice into our 24/7 operations and every change project we run. You’ll work closely with other Data leads and partner with teams across AO-from Retail and Logistics to Mobile and Recycling-to ensure your strategy lands and delivers real value. This is a hands-on leadership role. You’ll define the roadmap, lead change, and manage a portfolio of projects that improve how we govern data across people, processes and tech. You’ll engage with stakeholders, vendors and third parties to keep our data capabilities sharp and scalable. You’ll bring deep experience in governance, security and compliance, ideally from a similar role or team. You’ve led data projects, delivered clear ROI, and know how to drive results in a fast-paced environment. You’re a creative problem-solver with an eye for detail, and you know how to turn complex ideas into clear, compelling messages whether you’re talking to tech teams or senior leaders. If you’re ready to build something big, influence across the business, and help AO stay future-fit, we’d love to hear from you.
