We have been established for over 30 years and are an expanding business with a worldwide client base. We are currently recruiting a Merchandiser to work within the Ladieswear Sales Team. You will naturally show passion for high street fashion with an understanding of current trends and consideration for the customers needs. You will ideally have a minimum of 5 years experience, preferably with a fast fashion supplier background. Have experience with Critical Path Management, Liaising with Buyers, Production, Design, Fabric Teams and external partners. You will be part of a friendly and fast paced Sales team within Pentexs Headquarters. Role & Responsibilities: Manage multiple customer accounts simultaneously, ensuring a high standard of service across all touchpoints. Build and maintain strong working relationships with customer buying and merchandising teams. Lead the management of the critical path, coordinating across internal departments to ensure timelines are met and escalating any issues to management promptly. Proactively chase outstanding approvals and consistently manage customer expectations throughout the product lifecycle. Ensure weekly updated customer critical paths (CPs) are submitted accurately and on time. Follow up on internal and external meetings by issuing timely responses and ensuring agreed actions are completed. Input and maintain accurate data across internal systems and flow sheets. Respond to queries from factories, sales teams, and in-house departments, resolving issues promptly while considering CP lead times and potential impacts. Oversee profit and loss management, monitoring changes to orders that may affect fit, consumption, or styling. Report key cost implications to the Sales Manager and take necessary action to optimize profitability. Review and manage customer purchase orders at line level, ensuring all details are accurate and escalating discrepancies to customers as needed. Coordinate and manage customer press samples across departments, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to specifications. Conduct year-over-year (YOY) order reviews at the department level for Director review, including order volumes and quantities versus the same period last year. Support the management of TBC (to be confirmed) orders, working with the Sales Manager to clarify lead times and ensure timely receipt of order confirmations. Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, seeking and implementing more efficient ways of working across the business. Standardize and streamline reporting processes within PLM to identify operational bottlenecks and improve overall workflow efficiency. Delegate work to junior team members within the business.
