£9.5-month contract (paid over 12 months)
Smyth & Co are delighted to be recruiting for a Senior Sous Chef to join an exceptional venue located on the beautiful South Coast of England. Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum + Tips
Contract: 9.5 months of work (February to December) with 12 months' pay
Leave: 2.5 months off over Christmas (occasional texts but no work required during this time)
Accommodation: Shift Patterns:
Expect to work 4-5 double shifts per week, with 2-3 days off.
Enjoy 2.5 months of downtime (with pay) over the Christmas period, offering excellent work-life balance.
Report directly to the Head and Executive Chef
Oversee a team of 40-50, including 2-3 Sous Chefs and 10 Prep Chefs
Maintain high standards during peak periods, managing both the kitchen operations and staff
Strong leadership skills to manage a large, dynamic kitchen team
Willingness to relocate to the Isle of Wight for the duration of the contract
