You’ll be responsible for managing the procurement process from start to finish, ensuring all plant and materials are delivered on time and within budget. This role is fully office-based in Harefield with free parking on site, and the hours are 8am–5pm, Monday to Friday. Key Responsibilities: • Purchase and hire plant and materials to ensure timely site delivery • Price check and manage purchasing volumes • Provide quotes and cost information for upcoming works • Handle all administrative duties relating to procurement • Maintain up-to-date plant hire lists • Monitor project budgets and support commercial targets • Assist in preparing cost plans from drawings • Build strong relationships with suppliers and manufacturers • Ensure purchasing stays within set budgets Person Specification: • Experience as a Construction Buyer or Materials Buyer within the construction sector is essential • Highly numerate with strong attention to detail • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Able to read and interpret construction drawings • A proactive learner with a solutions-focused mindset • Full UK driving licence is essential Why Join?
