You will be working in the Cementation OU, which has been a trusted leader in piling and ground engineering for over a century. We are seeking a Divisional Director to join and work within the Cementation Skanska Limited leadership team to oversee and lead our Civils operational delivery activities across the UK.
Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the overall Civils operations of Cementation Skanska, overseeing multiple projects across the UK simultaneously.
* Actively lead opportunity identification, tender and operational delivery of projects, managing wide and diverse project teams.
* Actively grow the Civils capability of Cementation Skanska focusing on developing and maximising internal self-delivery expertise and the utilisation of key supply chain partners.
* Relentlessly drive the highest safety, wellbeing and environmental standards across our operations and continuously seek for improvements.
* Provide strategic direction and leadership to the Cementation civil engineering operations and preconstruction teams delivering projects for both internal (Skanska) and external customers.
* Supervise, mentor, and motivate project teams, including project directors, engineers, supervisors, plant operators and site operatives to achieve project goals.
Qualifications
* Thorough knowledge, expertise and a proven track record of delivering civil engineering projects, growing increased workload and capability.
* Experience in the management of construction plant and equipment and the self-delivery of works and subcontracting.
* Demonstrated self-delivery experience including the organisation and control of labour, plant and material to deliver Civil engineering works.
* Demonstrable experience in growing civil engineering capability and the associated revenues and operational delivery models.
* Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively manage teams and collaborate with stakeholders.
* Thorough understanding and application of health, safety, and environmental standards / regulations in delivering our works.
