We are partnering with a fast-growing, market-leading business to appoint a Senior Marketing Manager into a pivotal role within its marketing function. This is an opportunity for a commercially minded marketer to take end-to-end ownership of marketing activity for a core business unit, helping to shape strategy while remaining close to execution.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively across the organisation, owning everything from marketing strategy and value proposition development through to expert delivery across digital, product and customer marketing. The role plays a critical part in supporting ambitious growth plans across both B2B and B2B2C audiences.
The Role
This position blends strategic leadership with hands-on delivery. You will be accountable for defining direction, aligning stakeholders and ensuring marketing performance is measurable, effective and commercially impactful. You will work closely with a central marketing services team responsible for delivering group-wide marketing assets and collateral.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Leadership
Define and deliver an integrated B2B and B2B2C marketing strategy aligned to business growth objectives
Develop and execute Account-Based Marketing (ABM) plans for priority accounts
Lead brand positioning, content strategy, digital marketing and demand generation activity
Establish KPIs, reporting frameworks and attribution models to measure ROI and performance
Brand & Market Positioning
Strengthen market positioning and ensure consistent messaging across all channels
Deliver brand awareness campaigns that position the business as a category leader
Own PR, thought leadership and partnership marketing activity
Build strategic partnerships and alliances to extend reach among customers and influencers
Demand Generation & Growth
Own and optimise the demand generation engine across digital channels (SEO, PPC, email, paid social), ABM and content
Drive pipeline growth in close collaboration with sales, aligning on MQL, SQL and conversion targets
Ensure marketing activity directly supports commercial outcomes
Product & Customer Marketing
Lead go-to-market planning for new and existing products and services
Develop sales enablement materials in partnership with central marketing services, including case studies and advocacy programmes
Use customer insight and data to inform messaging, positioning and engagement strategies
Collaborative Working
You will work cross-functionally to ensure that marketing activities are insight-led, aligned, and effectively delivered. This includes close collaboration with Sales, Group Marketing, Central Marketing Services and wider stakeholders to:
Drive targeted initiatives, key account growth and new market opportunities
Use customer insight and competitor analysis to shape campaigns and messaging
Maximise event ROI and industry visibility through speaking opportunities, partnerships and memberships
Oversee integrated campaigns across web, social, email, paid media and PR
Ensure SEO best practice, content quality and CRM/marketing automation data integrity
Maintain brand consistency across all outputs
Support supplier-managed activity, including photography and print
Candidate Profile
Essential Qualifications
Degree-level qualification and Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) Diploma
Essential Experience & Knowledge
Significant experience in both B2B and B2B2C marketing environments
Proven track record of delivering multi-channel marketing strategies that drive revenue and brand growth
Strong experience across traditional and digital marketing channels
Hands-on knowledge of CRM and marketing automation platforms (e.g. Salesforce), and analytics tools such as GA4
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Commercially focused, data-driven and growth-oriented
Experience managing budgets and marketing operations
