Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Senior Engineer, you’ll be an integral part of our Structural and Geotechnical Engineering team, working on exciting infrastructure projects for clients like the Environment Agency, Severn Trent, and the Mining Remediation Authority.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
* Reviewing and clarifying technical requirements from clients, ensuring full understanding and challenging where necessary
* Contributing to the development of fee proposals
* Leading the daily workload of engineers and technical staff, ensuring compliance with design remits
* Maintaining adherence to legal requirements and company policies, including CDM Regulations and Quality Management Systems
* Supporting financial and commercial management of projects, including progress monitoring and value engineering
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if you have:
* Experience in design delivery, including multidisciplinary design, and are comfortable managing uncertainty and technical risk
* Extensive postgraduate experience in hydraulic structures or river engineering
* Chartered or Incorporated membership of a relevant professional institution (e.g., CEng MICE)
* A valid driving license to visit various sites and offices
