ABOUT US
At OKA, our Concession Managers play a pivotal role in representing the OKA brand within luxury department stores or partner retail locations. You will lead a dedicated team, ensuring that our beautiful, practical, and comfortable collections are showcased impeccably, delivering an outstanding customer experience that reflects the OKA ethos.
Located inside Fenwick Newcastle, one of the North Easts most prestigious department stores, our concession offers a focused edit of OKA favourites. With strong footfall and a city-centre location, the store attracts both loyal brand fans and new customers discovering OKA for the first time. Team members here enjoy being brand ambassadors in a collaborative retail environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Concession Operations:
* Oversee all operational aspects of the concession, maintaining high standards of presentation, merchandising, and stock management in line with OKA brand guidelines.
* Work collaboratively with the host store management and teams to ensure smooth running of the concession area.
* Manage scheduling, staffing levels, and performance within your concession team.
Customer Experience:
* Handle customer enquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
* Lead by example, providing exceptional customer service that reflects the OKA brand values
* Develop and maintain client relationships through personalised service and clienteling initiatives.
Team Leadership and Development:
* Recruit, onboard, and train concession staff to deliver excellent product knowledge and customer engagement.
* Motivate, develop, and manage your team to meet sales targets and KPIs.
* Encourage a positive, inclusive team culture aligned with OKAs values.
Sales & Commercial Focus:
* Proactively drive sales performance, analyse concession metrics, and implement strategies to maximise revenue.
* Assist with promotional activities, in-store events, and product launches in collaboration with OKA retail and marketing teams.
Brand Ambassador:
* Represent OKA at all times, ensuring brand standards are upheld and enhanced within the concession environment.

ABOUT YOU
* Proven retail management experience, ideally within concessions or department store environments.
* Strong commercial acumen with a track record of driving sales in a luxury or premium retail setting.
* Passionate about delivering outstanding customer service and developing teams.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, comfortable liaising with multiple stakeholders.
* Organised and proactive, with the ability to multitask and problem-solve effectively.
* Passion for interiors, design, and the OKA brand is highly desirable.
* Flexible approach to working hours, including weekends and holidays.
