Overview
I have recently partnered with an engineering consultancy who are looking for a CAD Technician to join their growing team in Henley-on-Thames. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong AutoCAD skills who enjoys leading, mentoring, and delivering multiple projects to high standards.
Responsibilities
* Programming resources and ensuring projects are delivered within timescales.
* Producing and managing detailed substructure and superstructure drawings in AutoCAD.
* Overseeing several projects simultaneously and ensuring quality delivery.
* Supporting a team of engineers and technicians on residential housing projects.
* Reviewing and commenting on third-party designs/drawings.
* Liaising with contractors and dealing with technical/construction queries.
* Reporting progress to Associates/Partners.
Qualifications
* 3+ years’ relevant experience in a similar role.
* Strong AutoCAD expertise.
* Knowledge of building structures including steel, concrete, timber, and masonry (advantageous).
* Ability to manage multiple projects and work within a multi-disciplinary team.
* Strong communication skills with a positive, proactive attitude.
