Fantastic opportunity to work as a Mechanical Fitter for a growing business in the Wetherby area.
This would be an ideal role for someone seeking an interesting role working on a range of bespoke projects
As a Mechanical Fitter, the role will include:
·Working on engineering drawings
·Servicing and repairing machinery, replacing parts, re-greasing machinery, and rebuilding
·Build and assembly of new products
·Welding and machining of parts (experience not essential)
·Working with a range of hand tools
·Producing high-quality products and quality checking as required
·Test and repair of electro-mechanical equipment
The ideal Mechanical Fitter will:
·Have a strong mechanical aptitude.
·Be able to read and work to drawings.
·Ideally have worked in a maintenance engineering or fitting capacity previously
·Have excellent fault-finding and repair skills.
·Be a good problem solver and have a confident understanding of electro-mechanical machinery.
·Have a strong willingness to learn and be keen to progress in this role.
·Any machinery building experience would be of great interest.
·Any experience of electrical wiring would be of interest.
·We are particularly interested in apprentice-trained fitters or those who hold a relevant qualification in engineering.
