Job Description
3. Manage contractors delivering planned works on housing stock across Manchester
4. Lead, motivate, and manage contractors and consultants to ensure performance, quality, and compliance
5. Develop and manage budgets, programmes, and procurement processes
6. Ensure all works comply with relevant legislation, health & safety standards, and regulatory requirements
7. Work collaboratively with internal teams, residents, and external partners to minimise disruption and maximise satisfaction
8. Monitor performance, manage risks, and report on progress and outcomes
9. Contribute to asset management planning and continuous service improvement
The Successful Applicant
10. Proven experience managing planned works within social housing
11. Strong knowledge of building construction, maintenance, and compliance requirements
12. Experience managing budgets, contracts, and programmes of work
13. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
