Family Solicitor - Private Family (c.5 Years PQE)
Founded on a strong reputation, this role offers a confident solicitor with around five years of post-qualification experience to manage a varied private family caseload in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Location: Liverpool – hybrid working available.

The Role
You will handle a broad range of private family law matters, including:
* Divorce and separation
* Financial remedy proceedings
* Private child disputes
* Cohabitation disputes and Schedule 1 Children Act claims
* Pre‑ and post‑nuptial agreements
Your responsibilities will include:
* Managing your own caseload with autonomy
* Drafting pleadings, statements, agreements and other legal documents
* Advising clients on strategy and negotiating settlements
* Preparing matters for court and attending hearings including FDRs and final hearings
* Working closely with counsel, experts and other professionals
* Promoting the use of non‑court dispute resolution where appropriate
* Maintaining excellent standards of client care
* Supporting and mentoring junior team members where relevant
About You
To be considered for this role you will:
* Be a qualified solicitor with around 5 years PQE in family law
* Have experience managing private family law matters independently
* Demonstrate strong technical knowledge of family law and procedure
* Be confident dealing with clients in a professional and empathetic manner
* Have excellent drafting, negotiation and communication skills
* Be well organised and comfortable managing competing deadlines
* Enjoy working as part of a collaborative and supportive team
