We are seeking a dedicated and supportive Health & Social Care Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a Sixth Form College in Kensington. The role involves supporting students aged 16–19 within Health and Social Care lessons, helping them to engage with the curriculum and achieve their academic potential.
You will work closely with teaching staff to provide one-to-one and small group support, particularly for students with additional learning needs, supporting them in understanding course content, completing assignments, and developing independence and confidence.
Key Responsibilities

Provide in-class support during Health and Social Care lessons

Support students on a one-to-one or small group basis

Assist with coursework, assignments, and exam preparation

Encourage positive engagement, behaviour, and independent learning

Work collaboratively with teaching staff and the SEN team

Maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
About You

A background in Health and Social Care, education, or supporting young people
*
Experience working with young people or learners with additional needs (desirable)
*
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
*
A patient, flexible, and supportive approach
*
Willingness to support students with a range of learning needs
