Job role
You will be working on the production and assembly line at our manufacturing site in Haddenham. As part of a team of technicians, you will build, assemble, and pack a variety of products that we manufacture; ensuring that customer requirements are met with product being built on time in full (OTIF). You will be expected to build products to high standards of accuracy and quality; always working in line with company quality and health & safety standards.
Main responsibilities
* Complete daily tasks as required by your manager to maximise productivity
* Be prepared and flexible to work on various lines (cells) within the production area
* Ensure tools, work instructions and work environment are maintained to 6s quality standards
* Provide continuous improvement ideas and suggestions to the business
* Escalate any quality and safety issues to your manager
* Take instructions from your manager and work together with colleagues from Engineering, Quality, Customer Service and Warehousing
* Work strictly to NOTE Haddenham and customer defined processes.
Skills, knowledge & experience
* Experience of working on a production line or in warehousing within manufacturing
* Good eye-hand co-ordination to construct small parts and components into a final product; using hand tools as required
* Ability to follow instructions and diagrams for each product
* Able to work quickly and accurately to meet production targets, working independently or in a team environment
* Willing to be on your feet, working with and handling heavy parts, using safe manual handling techniques
* Competent reading and communication skills in English
* Soldering experience would be advantageous.

Pay and benefits
Salary: From £13 per hour (£25,000 per annum)
Working hours: Full time is 37 hours per week
Mon to Thurs 08:00 to 16:30 and Fri 08:00 to 13:00
Holiday: 25 days plus Bank Holidays (includes Christmas shutdown)
Pension scheme: Auto-enrolment with NEST pension scheme
5% employee + 3% company contributions
