Description
The ER Case Manager works as part of the ER Centralized Case Management Team, which champions a new approach within the UK to ensure fair policy application, optimal associate experience, and high-quality case documentation. As a case manager, you will hear cases directly, acting as a decision maker regarding outcomes and next steps. This includes cases that cannot be resolved informally at the site, such as grievances, ethics line issues, executive escalations, and cases of concern about associates (excluding attendance or performance), including investigations, disciplinary actions, and appeals.
You will build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders (legal/external counsel), becoming a trusted advisor in employee relations. Your role involves supporting and advising your team on complex ER cases, upholding high standards in case management and employee well-being.
Key job responsibilities
1. Company Culture Steward: Promote Amazon's Leadership Principles, ensuring dignity and respect in all employee relations interactions.
2. Organisational Development and Planning: Align ER priorities with business objectives to achieve strategic outcomes.
3. Organisational Health: Manage end-to-end employee relations cases, ensuring fair, consistent handling in compliance with employment law. Analyze ER metrics to identify trends and implement solutions.
4. PXT Operations: Use HR systems and data to inform decisions, maintain data accuracy, and recommend policy improvements.
5. Data and Reporting: Enhance case management reporting through data analysis and dashboards, identifying trends for targeted actions.
6. HR Policy and Practices: Ensure legal compliance of HR policies and drive continuous improvement through standardization and best practices.
Basic Qualifications
* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification
* Experience in Complex ER Case Management
* Experience managing multiple disciplinary and grievance cases
* Fluent in spoken and written English (C2 level)
Preferred Qualifications
* CIPD qualification
* Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel) and HR information systems
