Contracts & Procurement Solicitor Leicester (Local Authority role) 3-6 Month contract initially Hourly rate negotiable (Indicate rate sought) *Must have current practising certificate* We are looking to recruit a qualified lawyer locum who specialises in commercial, contractual and procurement law on the following basis: Ideally 37 hours - minimum 30 hours per week. Minimum term of 3 months (subject to potential extension). Significant local government and contracts and procurement experience, incl. experience of advising on procurements under PA23. Confirmation as to level of office attendance they are prepared to commit to on weekly basis (not essential that they attend regularly but will be considered as part of identifying best candidate as permanent team members are currently expected to be in the office at least one day per week). Ready to start on a week's notice from confirmation of assignment. Responsibility to collect laptop in person from Leicester and return laptop at end of assignment in line with LCC corporate policy at candidate's cost.
