Purpose of the Job To deliver high-quality mechanical maintenance across commercial office buildings To operate as the Lead Mechanical Engineer across sites in the City & West End To support and guide other engineers on-site when required To ensure all mechanical systems are maintained safely, efficiently, and to a high standard Key Responsibilities Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive mechanical works Maintain and fault-find on AHUs, FCUs, pumps, valves and HVAC plant Act as the lead engineer on-site, providing technical support to other engineers Ensure all works are completed in line with Health & Safety regulations Liaise professionally with clients and site representatives Complete maintenance reports and documentation accurately Maintain high standards across all assigned commercial office sites Personal Experience / Qualifications / Skills Strong mechanical background within Building Services Proven experience working in commercial office environments Experience working with HVAC plant including AHUs & FCUs Able to lead by example and support other engineers Good communication and client-facing skills Organised, professional, and proactive approach FGAS qualification supported if not already held Role Details & Benefits Location: City of London & West End Role Type: Foot Mobile Hours: Monday Friday Salary: £45,000 £50,000 Travel: Zone 1 & 2 Travelcard provided Environment: High-quality commercial office buildings Stability: Long-term role within a reputable facilities provider Accountabilities Accountable to the Contract Manager No direct line management responsibility Responsible for maintaining mechanical systems to a high standard Responsible for safe working practices and site compliance
