Eden Scott’s client, one of the UK’s leading and fastest-growing consultancies in pensions and wealth management, is looking to add an Employee Benefits/Pension Consultant to their team. This opportunity has arisen due to company growth and expansion across the central belt of Scotland.
Main responsibilities include providing advice on employee benefits products and services, including group pensions, risk benefits such as life cover and income protection, workplace savings, and flexible benefits.
Key responsibilities:
1. Generating new business from clients (targeting SMEs and larger clients) while maintaining long-term relationships through quality service.
2. Understanding clients’ current circumstances and future aims; researching and communicating appropriate options.
3. Providing clients with information on new and existing products and advising on appropriate changes.
4. Adhering to compliance procedures and FCA regulations.
5. Dealing with all client affairs with integrity and transparency.
Requirements:
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in employee benefits or insurance roles. RDR qualification preferred; exam support available if needed.
* Full understanding of employee benefits products and ability to generate new business while building relationships.
* Good numeracy and IT skills for research, analysis, and interpretation.
* Ability to communicate complex information effectively in writing and verbally.
* Ability to inspire confidence and trust.
