Job Description
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
* Responsible for Project Software Engineering Design, Configuration and Testing of Metering Skid -Software Packages, based on customer specifications, proposal BID in alignment with internal standards.
* Coordinate with E&I functional teams for equalization of interrelated work. Flexibility to work according to priority and deadlines. Responsible for Complete Project Deliverables in given time with acceptable quality.
* Factor I: Accountability
o Review of Customer specifications / inputs and identify scope
o Follow the departmental and PMO Processes
o Generate Project Design documents
o Engineering Design freeze (System Architecture, P&ID and Control Narratives)
o Customer Engagement which includes customer KOM, Customer Queries, resolving deviation to specifications
o Ensure Quality of the Project documentation
o Finalize Reports, Module and HMI Templates, P&ID mark up for HMI
o Configure database and HMI graphics
o Responsible for maintaining Quality records
o Sub Vendor offer review and Sub Vendor drawings / documents review
o Monitor Software work progress on project
o Perform Pre-FAT and FAT with Customer
o As Build Documentation and handover to Service
Who You Are:
* Factor II: Knowledge and Skills
o Minimum Qualification – Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Instrumentation / Electronics Engineering with 6+ years of experience preferably with Oil and Gas background
o Proficient in the spoken and written English language
o Proficient working with computers
o Proficient with MS Office Tools (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access)
o Experience on Liquid or GAS, Fiscal or Custody Transfer Metering Knowledge would be added advantage
o Familiar with basic design work processes and has completed basic design packages
o Being able to effectively communicate findings through reports and presentations
o Hands on Experience on Flow computers and Flow Metering Skid software packages
o Hands on Experience on PLC / SCADA, HMI, Batch Controllers / Truck or Ship Loading / Unloading Controllers
o Hands on Experience of S600+, MOVICON, OMNI and Emerson DeltaV based Metering Flow Computers preferred
o Able to generate Repots in customer required formats and Units of measurement
o Able to do simulation test set up and perform test
o Hands on experience on PLC, SCADA HIMI
o Test Flow Skid Packages, serial communications on Modbus TCP / IP or Modbus RTU / ASCII.
o Verify Calculations as per Metering (AGA-8, AGA-7, or API) Measurement standards preferred

o Software Engineer shall supervise own work, control it with respect to Quality and productivity
o Focused on the project deliverables, issues / concerns and results
o Timely Escalations to ensure completion of the project
o Provide idea / suggestions to improve on budgets
