Key Responsibilities
· Assembling our modular units by reading and following technical drawings
· Ensuring efficient operations by adhering to operational procedures, rules, and schedules
· Always treating all stock and merchandise with care and concern
· Making sure all completed units are ready to go to the fitting team
· Maintaining a safe and tidy working area(s) within the warehouse through standard housekeeping practices and following 5's standards
· Ensure all Health & Safety Regulations are abided by
· Raise any non-conformance (NC) by notifying selected parties where applicable
Personal Profile & Skills:
· Experience using hand and power tools
· Background in mechanical assembly / fitting
· Work effectively with cross functional teams in the organisation
· Organised with excellent attention to detail
· Eager to learn and to understand business needs
· 'Hands-on' and results driven
· Confident, resilient and able to work in a fast-paced environment
· Self-motivated and proactive
General:
· Act in a reasonable & compliant manner
· Flexible & agile - current company practice is you may be expected to undertake work within other departments to assist with workloads or to provide holiday / sickness cover, as and when required
· Ensure that you maintain a high standard of personal presentation
· To own personal development in order to grow skills and value to the business
· To act in a responsible manner and in keeping with the company ethos at all time
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Pay: £14.90-£15.50 per hour
