Job Description Pensions Support Assistant (4) Dumfries (2) Permanent 36 hours posts £29,133 - £30,597 (1) Fixed Term 36 hours, fixed term for 4 years £29,133 - £30,597 (1) Fixed Term 32 hours, fixed term for 1 year. £25,896 - £27,197.33 Our Pensions Team is expanding, and we’re looking for keen and conscientious individuals to join us in developing our service and achieving our goals. We have a permanent, full-time position available, and a four-year fixed term position. We administer the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS), delivering a variety of services to our members. This role entails acting as first point of contact for our team, helping members and stakeholders as appropriate, as well as supporting our team internally to deliver our key priorities. You will be joining an already busy team as we take on new challenges and enhance our ways of working. We need someone who is keen to learn, works independently, and has experience in the use of technology. This is a new role, and you will provide vital support to the wider team to ensure we deliver excellent customer experience and roll out new digital enhancements and key projects. Our team currently operate a hybrid working arrangement, with the expectation to work together in our Dumfries office two days a week and the rest of the time from home. Applicants invited to interview will be asked to complete a short activity ahead of interview date, as well as an exercise on the day. Interviews will be held in person.
