As a Class 2 Driver, youll be completing local deliveries of metal using a flatbed vehicle and ensuring loads are secured safely using ratchet straps. You will also be provided with an EPOD device to track deliveries and communicate with the transport office.
* Completing 58 deliveries per shift
* Delivering metal and steel materials to customers
* Securing loads safely using ratchet straps
* Completing paperwork and PODs accurately
* Carrying out vehicle safety checks
* Maintaining a professional and customer-focused attitude
Requirements of the Class 2 Driver
* Valid Category C (Class 2) Licence
* Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
* Previous multidrop or delivery experience
* Experience securing loads with straps essential
* No more than 6 points on licence
* Safety boots & hi-vis vest
