This is a part tome leadong to full-time on-site role for an Automotive Painter located in Swadlincote. The Automotive Painter will be responsible for preparing vehicles for painting by sanding and priming surfaces, mixing and applying paint using spray guns, and ensuring that the finished paint job meets the highest quality standards. Additional duties include color matching, maintaining tools and equipment, and adhering to safety protocols in the paint shop. The role will also involve collaboration with other team members to ensure timely completion of work.
Qualifications
* Experience in automotive painting, including sanding, priming, and spray painting
* Skills in color matching and blending
* Knowledge of paint mixing systems and paint application techniques
* Familiarity with safety protocols and maintenance of painting tools and equipment
* Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
* Effective communication and teamwork skills
* Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
* Previous experience in an automotive body shop or similar environment is advantageous
