Afrikindness is looking to strengthen its executive board. We are seeking a finance professional with risk management experience to support our work. Could you bring your understanding of charity finance to our board?

What are we looking for?
We seek a finance professional, preferably with experience in risk management and investment strategy. Knowledge of charity finance is an advantage. An enthusiasm to learn, sound commercial experience, and understanding of SMEs are also valued. You should be a strategic thinker, able to communicate financial information effectively to non-finance stakeholders, and willing to participate in forecasting, budgeting, and liaising with auditors, investment partners, and authorities.
What will you be doing?
You will oversee Afrikindness’s financial health, maintain proper financial records, and support financial decision-making. Your role will include forecasting, budgeting, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. We seek experienced professionals with skills across finance, risk, strategy, investment, and business sectors to join our executive board and support our mission to empower children and young adults.
