We are seeking a Support Worker to join our team in Neyland, Pembrokeshire. In this vital role, you will contribute to our mission by providing high-quality support and assistance to adults with learning disabilities, ensuring their well-being and promoting their independence.
Responsibilities
* Provide compassionate support to residents in daily activities.
* Assist with personal care and hygiene needs.
* Implement individualized care plans tailored to each resident.
* Monitor and document residents' progress and well-being.
* Facilitate social and recreational activities to enhance residents' quality of life.
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members as needed.
* Ensure a safe and clean living environment for all residents.
* Participate in training and development opportunities.
* Qualifications
* Previous experience in caregiving or support work is essential.
* Strong understanding of assisted living and patient care principles.
* Knowledge of dementia
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
