The successful individual will be responsible for ensuring the company complies with H&S regulations, creating a safe working environment and promoting a strong safety culture. This role involves working closely with production, engineering and technical teams to ensure food safety and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities: * Conduct and review risk assessments and HACCP assessments for production processes * Implement control measures to minimise risks to employees, contractors and visitors * Act as Company Health and Safety Representative, devising and implementing Health & Safety procedures, Risk Assessments and policies * Be the main point of contact for guidance and support from H&S consultancy services * Arrange and chair H&S Committee meetings * Develop, implement and review H&S policies, procedures and manuals * Maintain and oversee incident reporting, near-miss reporting and root cause analysis * Ensure fire safety, first aid and emergency procedures are in place and regularly tested * Promote a positive safety culture through engagement and communication * Conduct regular workplace inspections, audits and safety checks to ensure the business is compliant * Report incidents t...
