Are you an experienced Assistant or Quantity Surveyor looking to work with a growing developer on interesting, high-end schemes?
We are working with a residential Developer looking to hire a QS to join a brand new scheme in Richmond on a beautiful brand new scheme consisting of a mixture of houses and apartments, so we are open to if you have RC frame or traditional build experience.

With the support of your Commercial Manager and a Senior QS you will be project based and have the following responsibilities:
1. Work closely with project managers, the technical team, and contractors to ensure cost-effective planning and execution of residential developments.
2. Utilise your expertise in cost estimation, budgeting, and financial management to drive project success.
3. Support with pre-construction tender documents and support with procurement responsibilities such as tender meetings and analysis for selection of contractors.
4. Conduct thorough analysis of project specifications, materials, and labour costs to provide accurate forecasts and reports.
5. Creating contractor specific contracts along combined with the appropriate supporting documentation.
6. Managing the progression of subcontract packages from first valuation to the final account.
7. Reviewing all valuations and variations submitted.
8. Managing budgets across all packages.
9. Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing and maintain strong relationships.
10. Monitor project progress, identifying potential cost overruns and implementing proactive solutions.
Requirements:
11. Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor with in the residential sector.
12. Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes, and regulations.
13. Proficiency in relevant software tools, including Excel, cost estimating software, and project management systems.
14. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
15. A results-driven mindset with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
