This post is for a Specialty Doctor in Dermatology. We wish to appoint a full-time Specialty Doctor in Dermatology to commence as soon as possible.
We are offering an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Specialty Doctor to join a dynamic, rapidly expanding team delivering multidisciplinary acute care at Croydon University Hospital.
The successful candidate will join an enthusiastic, forward-thinking department comprising 5 Consultants, GP Specialists, and a Pharmacy Prescriber. The appointment will be an essential member of the team.
The department offers excellent training and development opportunities, and the post holder is expected to support service demands.
Interview Date: To be confirmed. The post will be based at Croydon Health Services, with potential for off-site working as outlined in your Job Plan, subject to review by your Clinical Head of Service and Clinical Director.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Provide a high-quality dermatology service, including all aspects of treatment and relevant management duties for the department's proper functioning.
2. Responsible for outpatient clinic commitments in peripheral hospitals as agreed by Croydon Health Services.
3. Contribute to departmental research interests in accordance with the Trust's R&D framework.
4. Contribute to the Audit Programme.
5. Participate in the formulation, implementation, and monitoring of the Trust's objectives, including discussions on service plans and developments with internal and external agencies.
6. Conduct all activities within the contracted level of service and operating plan for the Department.
7. Collaborate with clinical and professional colleagues to ensure staff productivity.
