Job Description
The Managing Quantity Surveyor will be based on our Flood Alleviation Scheme, valued at over £25m, involving piling, RC works, earthworks, and civils. The role involves overall responsibility for project success, working in conjunction with the DiC/AM, managing relationships, and maximizing commercial returns.

Key Responsibilities
* Liaise with clients, their representatives, and third parties on commercial issues, including negotiating additional monies.
* Manage project costs and value, ensuring proper systems and procedures are in place.
* Negotiate contracts, identify unacceptable terms, and manage complex project cost reporting systems.
* Devise systems to control and monitor costs and financial performance.
* Facilitate risk management reviews, identify risks, and propose solutions.
* Lead negotiations to secure acceptable commercial results and manage disputes through appropriate resolution processes.
* Demonstrate leadership and commitment to the company's HSE vision.
Minimum Requirements
* Relevant third-level qualification.
* 8+ years of experience in commercial civils management and leadership.
* Excellent communication and analytical skills.
* Experience with bonds, warranties, insurances, and financial management.
