Our client are a Billion turnover profitable and sustainable business, looking to develop their commercial team
You will ideally have experience within the OOH/ Foodservice sector, ideal customers would be some or all of the following - Brakes, Bidfood, Booker, Country range, McDonalds, Greggs, Sodexo
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF JOB
To drive profitable volume growth in the OOH sector through exceptional planning, collaboration, leadership, project management and execution - whilst creating and leveraging outstanding customer relationships.
The role is pivotal in unlocking our strong growth ambitions, and therefore delivery of budgeted volumes is key.
In addition, the role requires the development and delivery of longer-term strategic plans
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
Build and develop strong relationships with customers, internal peer group and multifunctional colleagues to take the business forward.
Demonstrate curiosity and tenacity to identify constructive opportunities, which maximise use of time and focus.
Implement and deliver business plans aligned with customer retention and growth for both current and future years.
Manage budgeted targets across the team based on volume, turnover and margin.
Liaise with other departments internally to aid the understanding of the needs of our customers, and ensure they are fully informed of commercial objectives, purposes and achievements.
Proactively project manage EPD, NPD, delists and new innovations as they come to market.
Report back to the Head of OOH on commercial issues, opportunities and development plans and achievements within agreed formats and timescales. Ensure the dissemination of information is accurate and timely.
COMPETENCIES
Degree calibre or equivalent level of education/experience
FMCG experience in the UK, Europe or Global arena. Minimum 4 years’ experience at Account Manager /Business Manager level, with demonstrable evidence of sector knowledge/relationships and success within Out of Home.
Ideally from a food or beverage category, though other categories would still be considered.
Able to demonstrate a proven record of commercial experience and the delivery of results.
Strong levels of financial and commercial understanding and budget control.
Able to demonstrate strong examples of working collaboratively both internally and externally.
