Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Painter & Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction painting and possess strong communication skills. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint and finishes, and ensuring high-quality workmanship in a residential setting. A valid driving licence is not essential but helpful
Duties
* Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or cracks.
* Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
* Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with client specifications.
* Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following health and safety regulations.
* Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide updates on progress.
* Collaborate with other tradespeople as necessary to complete projects efficiently.
* Keep an inventory of materials and tools, ensuring everything is well-maintained and organised.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in construction painting or a similar role.
* Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
