**Electrician Required**
Our Global client is seeking a qualified electrician to join their engineering team based in the IV2 postcode, reporting to the Electrical Supervisor. The ideal candidate will have relevant experience and expertise in electrical maintenance.
**Responsibilities: **
* Safely and efficiently utilise all electrical equipment onsite.
* Collaborate with production and engineering teams.
* Repair electrical breakdowns across the site.
* Modify and improve procedures and programs as needed.
* Perform preventative maintenance on all electrical equipment.
* Identify and report any signs of equipment failure.
* Maintain up-to-date documentation, including logbooks and program additions/changes.
* Install and commission equipment and services as requested.
* Perform isolation and de-isolation procedures per the permit-to-work code of practice.
**Essential Qualifications: **
* Qualified to City & Guilds level or above.
* Experience in industrial maintenance.
* Knowledge of PLC systems, preferably Allen Bradley 5/40 and Siemens Step 5.
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
* Willingness to work towards completing the 18th Edition certification.
* Availability to cover for the shift electrician as needed.
