Job Summary
De Warenne Academy is seeking an outstanding, committed and motivated qualified teacher to join the English department on a full-time temporary basis from December 2025 until August 2026. As a classroom practitioner with a passion for inspiring pupils, you will contribute to the development of teaching, learning, and curriculum.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons for primary/secondary pupils.
* Develop and maintain a high-quality curriculum aligned with national standards.
* Support pupils’ academic growth in English, ensuring achievement and progress.
* Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practice and learning resources.
* Maintain accurate records and contribute to school improvement.
Qualifications & Experience
* Qualified teacher (PGCE/Teaching qualification).
* Experience teaching English at primary or secondary level is desirable.
* Commitment to creating a positive, safe, and supportive learning environment.
* Strong communication skills and a passion for continuous professional development.
