The role
As a Logistics Operative, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll play a vital role in supporting the delivery of Combat Engineering training—making sure essential equipment, supplies and stores are in the right place, at the right time. It’s an exciting opportunity to make a direct difference to defence capability and to the training of serving personnel, while building technical, operational and leadership skills that will accelerate your own career.
Day‑to‑day you’ll be required to:
1. Support stores operations, including issuing, receiving and replenishing equipment.
2. Carry out manual handling, loading and unloading of resources for training exercises.
3. Assist Combat Engineers by transporting, erecting and dismantling equipment.
4. Complete level 1 and 2 maintenance tasks in line with Army Equipment Support Publications.
5. Support audits, inspections, and general resource management tasks across the site.
Please note that this position involves manual work. This could include lifting, bending, using tools or standing for extended periods of time.
This is a full‑time role, working Monday–Thursday 08:00–16:30 and Friday 08:00–16:00, based onsite at Minley.
Essential experience of the Logistics Operative:
6. Experience of manual handling.
7. Ability to swim.
8. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
9. Able to work safely in a physically active role.
10. A full UK driving licence would be beneficial but is not essential.

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) security clearance for this role.
