2. Following departmental quality policies and objectives.
3. Adhering to UKAS standards and using the Pathology Quality Management System to meet ISO 15189 compliance through quality circles and audits.
4. Addressing nonconformities identified in audits or complaints.
5. Utilizing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) via the Q-Pulse Document Management System.
Person Specification
Education
Essential:
* GCSEs or equivalent in Science or related subjects
* GCSEs or equivalent in English Language
Desirable:
* A Levels or equivalent in Science or related subjects
* BSc in Biomedical Sciences or equivalent
Experience
Essential:
* Ability to organize own work
Desirable:
* Experience in Microbiology
* Experience with LIMS (WinPath Enterprise)
* Experience in a hospital laboratory environment

* Standard keyboard skills
* Excellent interpersonal skills
* Ability to handle exposure to unpleasant and infectious substances
