Working alongside our highly trained care navigators guided by an onsite deputy & team leader, you will be trained and educated in Primary Care and the huge role this plays in patients lives.

Main duties of the job
You will be the first point ofcontact for patients and have a diverse range of responsibilities. Your rolewill be integral to the Practice and our patients, as you ensure that theyreceive the right care, at the right time and by the correct method. PortsdownGroup Practice is a large, urban practice with 63,000 patients, working across6 sites. The work we do is challenging, interesting and hugely varied,reflecting the demographic mix of our patients. About us
Portsdown Group Practice covers thewhole of Portsmouth from postcodes PO1 to PO7.We operate from 6 surgeries: Cosham Park House (PO6 3BG), Crookhorn Lane(PO7 5XP, Heyward Road (PO4 0DY), Kingston Crescent (PO2 8AL), Paulsgrove (PO64HJ), and Somerstown (PO5 4EZ).
We are our own Primary Care Network(PCN). We have Clinical Partners, Salaried GPs and a comprehensive Nursing andextended clinical team overseen by our Clinical Team Manager. The team consists of Nurse / Paramedic Practitioners,Registered Nurses, HCAs, MSK Physiotherapists, Podiatrist, SocialPrescribers and Care Co-ordinators. The Pharmacy team consists of ClinicalPharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians.
The Practice is well established,financially secure and successful.
Job responsibilities
To handle inbound calls for queries to the practice, dealing withthem promptly and accurately to ensure the smooth running of the practice, andthe delivery of a high-quality service to our patients. Assisting with thecompletion of Anima forms where needed and navigating to appropriatealternatives.

Person Specification
Knowledge
