Job Description:
Due to an increase in demand and the continued success of our business, we require an additional Production and Warehouse Assistant to join our friendly and busy team assisting with the production of our range of fresh products ready for despatch to our customers across the UK. You will also assist with some picking, packing of stock and the daily clean down duties of the production area. Working Mon to Fri 45 hours per week with weekly pay, paid holiday, a modern working environment and on site parking available.
We can provide full training so no experience is necessary in our industry sector but you should have previous production, warehouse, picking/packing or similar experience and you must be happy to be on your feet working in a busy production and packing environment. We can offer a permanent role or will also happily consider students available throughout the Summer.
We are a leading manufacturer of a specialist fresh and frozen product which we supply to customers across the UK via our distribution network for online orders. The role requires candidates who are happy to be standing during the day and who are happy working within an environment that is time critical given our production and shipping requirements. You should be happy working in a chilled and frozen environment and also handling our raw products and ingredients. You should be happy working in a chilled and frozen environment and also handling our raw products which include chicken, beef, pork and lamb.
Your main production duties will be as follows:-
Loading raw materials into the processing equipment.
Assisting in the preparation of the tubs of finished fresh products.
Prepare and/or packing of smaller items.
You will be working with a variety of raw materials (loading into the production area, cutting, trimming and other production processing tasks). Placing lids onto finished products, placing plastic sleeves on either individual or twin tubs, placing finished tubs in to crates, stacking crates on to pallets.
Assisting with the washdown of the production area, including equipment, tools and parts.
You may also be asked to do the following if required:
Packing stock and orders into boxes, seal, label, and stack on to pallets.
We can provide full training and you must be happy to be on your feet working in a busy production and packing environment and have some relevant experience.

You should be happy working within a manual role and have a good eye for detail and accuracy to ensure our products are produced correctly and are despatched accurately and on time. We will provide safety clothing and full training in the use of our equipment but you must be happy working in a hands on role, on your feet and within a chilled/frozen environment of production areas. In return we can offer weekly pay, holiday pay and free parking.
