Health & Wellbeing Community Coach
Department: Watford FC’s Community Sports and Education Trust
Reporting to: Health & Wellbeing Manager
Hours: 24 per week
Salary: £15,600
Location: Vicarage Road Stadium, Vicarage Road, Watford, Hertfordshire, WD18 0ER
Contract Type: 12 months fixed term - part time.

Summary of your role:
You will work within our Health & Wellbeing Department and will deliver activities for young people and adults, as part of our diverse range of physical and mental health projects. The role will include administrative tasks to support the Health and Wellbeing Manager.
You will be highly motivated, enthusiastic, and committed to planning and delivering high quality sessions.
Your Roles and Responsibilities, but Not Limited To
· To deliver high quality, consistent sessions across Hertfordshire and Harrow for a variety of physical and mental health projects.
· Ensure that the sessions you deliver meet the projects guidelines and requirements.
· Work collaboratively with the Health and Wellbeing Manager to support with successful planning and delivery of the projects.
· Work alongside other coaches and share any learnings from across projects.
· Complete administration tasks including triage of participants, registers are kept up to date, inputting delivery data onto management systems and monitoring/inputting evaluation data onto reports.
You Must Have
· Relevant qualification in health and/or wellbeing.
· Safeguarding Qualification – or be willing to complete this prior to starting delivery.
· First Aid Qualification – or be willing to complete this prior to starting delivery.
· Experience in delivering and working with a variety of people and ages on projects linked to physical activity and mental health.
· Effective organisational skills, to be able to manage multiple responsibilities and suitably manage, report and upload confidential mass project data.
· Experience in managing safeguarding concerns and challenging behaviour.
· Proficient IT skills – proven experience of using Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook.
· Excellent communication and inter-personal skills – both verbal and written.
· Commitment to providing great customer care.
· Excellent time management skills to co-ordinate travelling to different locations in a timely manner and completing administration tasks.
· Ability to work calmly under pressure and meet deadlines.
· Work as part of a team whilst balancing different staff’s requests and own duties.
· Understanding of the Trust commitment to EDI & Safeguarding.
You Ideally Would Have
· A Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) Qualification.
· An accredited fitness or coaching qualification.
