At OCS Group, we are recruiting for a Domestic Cleaning Operative, to carry out all cleaning duties as required by your Line Manager and in accordance with the work schedule for your area and will perform these duties in a professional manner and strive to exceed customer expectations, never over promising or under delivering.
You will be working Monday to Friday, on a permanent part-time basis, 06:00 to 08:00, 10 hours per week.
You’ll also:
1. Make sure that areas are always cleaned to the highest standards.
2. Always work safely.
3. Make sure equipment is cleaned, maintained, and stored correctly.
4. You will be carrying out a range of cleaning activities including mopping, sweeping, dusting, emptying bins and cleaning washrooms.
5. Removal & re-hanging of Curtains allowing Trust staff to Launder.
6. Arranging for trust staff to clear cupboard floors allowing cleaning
7. To take responsibility for all, consumables, equipment & machinery used
8. Participate in any communication activities through formal and informal channels on safety matters to ensure that there is a free flow of ideas.
9. Take responsibility for reviewing the safe system of work prior to the commencement of the work activity.
10. You will be required to work closely with the Group Health and Safety team who are available to provide safety advice and support. Furthermore you will be required to ensure that safety initiatives are implemented within your areas of control.
11. Cleaning of the kitchen & all equipment within the area (where applicable)
12. To develop a good knowledge of the unit you are working on to enable efficient working practices
13. To understand the units working pattern so you do not conflict with the units daily working pattern
14. To take responsibility for all, consumables, equipment & machinery used
15. Participate in any communication activities through formal and informal channels on safety matters to ensure that there is a free flow of ideas.
16. Ensure that you have received the necessary training so that you can competently carry out your duties and responsibilities.
17. Acknowledge and accept a personal responsibility for safety.
18. You will be required to work closely with the Group Health and Safety team who are available to provide safety advice and support.
