Location: Tottenham and Canada Water, London

About the role
As a Junior Event Project Manager, you will be primarily responsible for the seamless end‑to‑end delivery of public realm activations, working closely with a small selection of property clients. You will support the Senior Project Manager and the Account Lead of Retail, ensuring smooth event operations and on‑site delivery.

What you'll be responsible for
Planning and Brief Process
- Create and deliver full event budgets, ensuring alignment with client expectations.
- Assist with proposals and budgeting for pitches or RFP bids.
- Document and report debriefs and learning.
- Attendance and lead client meetings with detailed note‑taking.
Event Planning and Delivery
- Own a range of small events end‑to‑end, including supplier management, operations, client communication, budgeting, and wrap‑up.
- Manage budgets, invoice processing, and system updates.
- Maintain schedules and workload, reporting issues to the Senior Project Manager.
- Attend site visits, gather important information, and analyse venue operations.
- Develop familiarity with client‑owned real‑estate and event spaces.
- Apply Project Farm H&S procedures and documentation.
- Coordinate logistics and kit management for multiple events.
- Procure permits and council permissions for public realm events.
- Collaborate with production teams and manage basic production set‑ups.
You’ll need to have
- 1+ year of events industry experience with small to mid‑scale events.
- Proven end‑to‑end event management, including logistics and staffing.
- Strong budgeting and financial administration skills.
- Experience briefing, coordinating staffing teams and suppliers.
- Solid understanding of event operations, site visits, and on‑ground delivery.
- Knowledge of health & safety processes, risk assessments, and compliance.
- Confidence in client communication and expectation management.
- Excellent organisational and time‑management skills, capable of juggling multiple projects.
- Proactive, solutions‑oriented mindset, calm under pressure.
- Strong communication skills and collaborative teamwork.
- Good proficiency with Google Drive and office tools.
- Availability for evenings, weekends, and travel as required.
Nice to haves
- Experience with retail, placemaking or public realm activations.
- Familiarity with council permissions, licensing, and permits.
- Basic understanding of event production (AV, power, lighting).
- Support for pitches or RFP responses.
- Knowledge of event/project management systems.
