Director, POM Product Management Manager – Enterprise Custody Platform
Location: London, United Kingdom
Responsibilities
* Set a clear product vision and communicate it effectively
* Own end-to-end delivery on pod outcomes, including software delivery and operating models, where applicable
* Translate user needs into user stories and acceptance criteria for your team; maintain a backlog 3 to 4 sprints ahead of the team
* Facilitate release planning with stakeholders
* Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure product vision aligns within platform strategy and requirements
* Accountable for product specific business outcomes once solution enters production, and communicating with stakeholders
* Support messaging, communication and client outreach as necessary
* Monitor the risk and regulatory environment and partner with senior management to consider changes to deliverables as needed
Qualifications
* Expertise
o Experience as a product owner and with agile ways of working, including sprint planning and backlog prioritization
o Experience articulating a roadmap
o Some relevant institutional banking domain expertise and knowledge, ideally in the Custody business and trade/instruction capture
o Experience with leading cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders in a complex organization
* Individual skills
o Strong leader, collaborator, team player, and individual contributor
o Good communication skills, both with team and executives
o Ability to leverage multiple influencing techniques to motivate a team
o Strong problem solver with ability to manage and lead the team to push the solution and progress
