Overview

We are working with a dynamic software development client in Bristol who are on the lookout for a confident, results-driven Account Executive. This is your chance to own enterprise-level opportunities, build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, and help organisations transform their technology through bespoke software solutions.


What You’ll Be Doing

* Own and manage the full sales cycle from initial discovery to negotiation and close.
* Qualify and progress warm leads from SDR and marketing channels.
* Conduct discovery calls to understand client needs and decision-making drivers.
* Collaborate with technical teams to produce proposals, presentations, and commercial responses.
* Represent the client in pitch meetings with senior stakeholders.
* Write compelling proposals for complex solutions.
* Work with delivery teams to shape project solutions and staffing models.
* Manage and forecast pipeline using CRM software.
* Respond to inbound leads, including public sector tenders.
* Share insights to help refine sales strategy and positioning.

What We’re Looking For

* B2B sales experience, ideally in tech consulting, software delivery, or digital agencies.
* Proven track record of closing high-value deals (£100k+).
* Comfortable selling into IT, engineering, or transformation teams in large or scaling organisations.
* Experienced in owning the full sales process, from discovery to close.
* Confident using CRM software to manage pipeline and reporting.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, structured and persuasive.
* Thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and takes pride in their work.
* Bonus: experience responding to public sector tenders.
