Contracts Engineer / Project Manager Geotechnical Specialist Contractor Scotland & North of England Carmichael UK is recruiting on behalf of a well-established geotechnical specialist contractor that is continuing to grow across the UK. Due to a strong order book, they are seeking an experienced Contracts Engineer / Project Manager to deliver projects predominantly across Scotland and the North of England. This is an excellent opportunity to join a technically strong business working on a diverse portfolio of ground engineering projects. The Role As Contracts Engineer / Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of multiple geotechnical schemes, from pre-construction through to completion. Key responsibilities include: Managing contracts, programmes, costs, and resources Overseeing site teams and specialist subcontractors Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget Liaising with clients, designers, and internal stakeholders Maintaining high standards of quality, compliance, and commercial control About You To be considered for this role, you must have: Proven experience in piling and/or grouting works Background as a Contracts Engineer, Project Manager, or similar role Strong understanding of geotechnical and ground engineering operations Excellent commercial, organisational, and communication skills Willingness to travel across Scotland and the North of England What’s on Offer Competitive salary and package Company vehicle or car allowance Long-term career progression within a specialist contractor Opportunity to work on technically challenging and varied projects Interested?
