Key role and responsibilities for Warehouse Manager
1. Managing warehouse staff, performance and health and safety compliance
2. Being responsible for the warehouse despatch
3. Monitor the use of material handling equipment so that a safe and efficient working environment is promoted at all times
4. Liaison with key stakeholders regarding progress, stock queries, etc
5. Provide cover for deputy and supervisors in their absence
6. Plan future capacity requirements
Minimum requirements for Warehouse Manager
7. Experience in a warehouse supervisory / manager role essential
8. Exceptional leadership and communication skills
9. Working knowledge of WMS/ ERP systems
10. Ability to lead and inspire your team for excellence and continuous improvement
11. Sound knowledge of logistics and warehouse best practices
