Are you ready to take your career to the next level as a Commercial Project Manager within the Major Connections team at UK Power Networks? Join us at our Maidstone office as a permanent employee and play a vital part in connecting communities and supporting major developments across the SPN area.
This is your chance to secure a highly competitive salary of £80,574, alongside a car allowance and a 3% bonus. We offer 23 days' annual leave plus bank holidays, a flexible benefit fund, reservist leave (18 days full pay and 22 unpaid), and a personal pension plan with employer contributions of up to 10%. Imagine leading projects through every stage of their lifecycle, from enquiry to completion, ensuring commercial success and customer satisfaction. You'll liaise with asset management to develop innovative strategies for customer requirements and produce quotations in line with our regulatory obligations. You will work closely with delivery partners throughout design and implementation, manage the financial control of your projects to deliver planned gross margins, and ensure design compliance with CDM regulations. Your influence will extend to collaborating with marketing, finance, legal and regulatory teams, and you'll work directly with customers and government offices to support expanding development areas. On top of this, you'll produce and manage ITT documentation for cable installations and have opportunities to present to senior management and external clients.
If you have a HNC in Electrical Engineering (or similar), or relevant experience in project management or distribution networks, combined with a strong commercial awareness and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, we want to hear from you. A 'can do' attitude, customer focus, and the ability to manage multiple major projects are essential. We value those who are willing to challenge the status quo and thrive as part of a dedicated, supportive team. You will also carry important health and safety responsibilities, ensuring a safe environment for all involved.
