Duties include: Assist the Shift Manger in the day to day running of the Warehouse Operation ensuring the work flow is managed in a timely and efficient manner Assist the Shift Manger in co-ordinating the Warehouse Operative to ensure targets are met Ensure the accurate and timely completion of all administration activities Support the Shift Manager in controlling levels of planned and unplanned volumes and take appropriate action to ensure effective service delivery Process stock reconciliation, resolve stock discrepancies, customer requests and stock amendments in a timely and accurate manner, whilst adhering to operational processes and procedures Effectively contribute to product rotation and quality assurance Communicate effectively with Managers/Supervisors and Operational Team ensuring smooth flow of operations Support with maintaining systems configuration Support with Picking/Packing, Inbound and Outbound operations Provide stock auditing assistance Provide an excellent level of customer service and liaison Ensure and maintain high levels of Health & Safety Work as a Shift Managers deputy in emergency situations What we are looking for: Ability to communicate well at all levels within the business Excellent accuracy when recording data Ability to make decisions under pressure, and to a tight timescale Able to demonstrate a high level of attention to detail Have excellent problem solving, analytical and organisational skills Have the ability to identify and suggest improvements PC Literate in Word, Excel and Outlook Knowledge of Warehouse Operations (desirable) Knowledge of WMS System (desirable) Mach Recruitment acts as an Employer in relation to this vacancy.
