About the Role
As Business Teacher, you will deliver engaging and well-structured lessons that help students develop an understanding of business principles, entrepreneurship, marketing, finance, and management. Key responsibilities include:
* Planning and delivering high-quality Business lessons across Key Stages 4 and 5
* Supporting pupils to achieve strong academic outcomes in GCSE and A-Level Business
* Using a range of teaching strategies to engage learners and support different abilities
* Monitoring pupil progress through effective assessment and feedback
* Creating a positive classroom environment that encourages participation and discussion
* Contributing to departmental planning and curriculum development
* Supporting enrichment activities such as enterprise projects, competitions, or careers events
Experience and Skills
The successful candidate will:
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification
* Have strong subject knowledge in Business or a related discipline
* Demonstrate the ability to deliver engaging and structured lessons
* Be committed to supporting pupils of all abilities to achieve their potential
* Have excellent classroom management and communication skills
