We’re looking for a Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) leader to drive the transformation of our production environment. You won’t just maintain the system—you’ll architect its future. This is a permanent, strategic role where you’ll spearhead the implementation of a next-generation MES platform for a company at the bleeding edge of chip design and semiconductor manufacturing for AI and data centre markets.

What You’ll Be Doing
System Strategy & Leadership
* Own the configuration, deployment, and optimization of the MES system
* Take charge of selecting and implementing the new MES platform
* Serve as the go-to subject matter expert, guiding technical decisions and business process alignment
Integration & Collaboration
* Work cross-functionally with Production, QA, IT, and Engineering teams
* Integrate MES with ERP, PLCs, and other enterprise systems
* Ensure business continuity through robust disaster recovery planning
Process Improvement & Innovation
* Analyse manufacturing workflows to identify system-driven efficiencies
* Configure MES to boost real-time data accuracy and operational throughput
* Write and maintain SOPs and best practices for MES usage
Support & Training
* Train end users and provide technical support for MES-related issues
* Manage escalations and act as the lead troubleshooter for system issues
Compliance & Governance
* Ensure the MES supports ISO and other regulatory standards
* Lead audits and maintain change documentation
What We’re Looking For
Must-Haves
* Strong hands-on experience with MES platforms—especially PROMIS, Ops Center, or Camstar
* Experience in high-tech, high-volume manufacturing environments (semiconductor experience = big win)
* Proven ability to manage, upgrade, and integrate MES solutions with ERP/PLC systems
* Knowledge of RedHat Enterprise Linux; OpenVMS and PROMIS experience is a bonus
Also Handy
* Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing workflows
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or similar
* Outstanding analytical, communication, and multitasking skills
