We are seeking committed and enthusiastic Secondary Teaching Assistants to join supportive schools around Great Yarmouth. The successful candidates will work with students across Key Stages 3 and 4, providing classroom and small-group support to help pupils achieve their academic and personal goals.
Duties as a Secondary Teaching Assistant:
* Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons and managing classroom activities.
* Provide one-to-one or small-group assistance for students who need additional help.
* Assist with behaviour management and encourage a positive learning environment.
* Help prepare learning materials and resources.
* Monitor and report on student progress to teaching staff and parents/carers.
Ideal Secondary Teaching Assistant:
* Experience working with secondary-age pupils or in an educational setting.
* A recognised Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 2/3 preferred) or equivalent experience.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with young people.
* Patience, flexibility and a genuine commitment to supporting students’ learning and well-being.
